ASSESSING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IMPACTS
OF WIND POWER
The National Wind Coordinating Committee has conpleted this report in an effort to address the growing interest in wind power development as a means of expanding local economies. The introduction states that the primary objective of the study is "to provide examples of thorough and consistent analysis and documentation of economic impacts from wind power development." The second objective of this study is "to provide interested parties with information about the local and regional economic impacts of the construction and operation and maintenance of existing wind power projects."
