Rattlesnake Road Wind Farm began commercial operation in December 2008 along Oregon’s wind-swept banks of the Columbia River west of the City of Arlington in Gilliam County. With 49 Suzlon S88 2.1 MW turbines, Rattlesnake Road has an installed capacity of 103 MW- enough to power approximately 30,000 homes with clean energy each year. Pacific Gas & Electric Company purchases the wind farm’s energy.
